Before you decide to start exporting your products and pursuing overseas markets, start by doing some market research and understanding where the best opportunities are for your company overseas. Third, look at your product or service and understand where your best strengths are relative to the competitive landscape that you find in each region of the world, so that you can understand where you have the best opportunity to develop a niche or open a market for your product.
